TD Ameritrade reported fiscal year 2009 executive compensation information on January 8, 2010.
In 2009, five executives at TD Ameritrade received on average a compensation package of $4M, a 43% decrease compared to previous year.
Joseph H. Moglia, Chairman, received $9.9M in total, which decreased by 53% compared to 2008. 55% of Moglia's compensation, or $5.5M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Moglia also received $1M in salary, $3.4M in stock awards, as well as $22K in other compensation.
Fredric J. Tomczyk, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $4.8M, which decreased by 64% compared to previous year. 62% of the compensation package, or $3M, was in stock awards.
Peter J. Sidebottom, Executive Vice President, Product, Marketing and Client Experience, earned $2.1M in 2009.
David M. Kelley, Chief Operating Officer, received $2M in 2009, which decreases by 12% compared to 2008.
William J. Gerber, Chief Financial Officer, earned $1.1M in 2009, a 3% decrease compared to previous year.
TD Ameritrade's fiscal year ends on September 30.
