Uber Technologies reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on March 28, 2022.
In 2021, five executives at Uber Technologies received on average a compensation package of $11M, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
Dara Khosrowshahi, Chief Executive Officer, received $20M in total, which increased by 63% compared to 2020. 80% of Khosrowshahi's compensation, or $16M, was in stock awards. Khosrowshahi also received $2.4M in non-equity incentive plan, $1M in salary, as well as $508K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2021, the median employee pay was $81,825 at Uber Technologies. Therefore, the ratio of Dara Khosrowshahi's pay to the median employee pay was 244 to one.
Nikki Krishnamurthy, SVP & Chief People Officer, received a compensation package of $11M, which increased by 108% compared to previous year. 88% of the compensation package, or $9.4M, was in stock awards.
Jill Hazelbaker, SVP, Marketing and Public Affairs, earned $7.9M in 2021, a 37% decrease compared to previous year.
Tony West, Chief Legal Officer, received $7.4M in 2021, which decreases by 40% compared to 2020.
Nelson Chai, Chief Financial Officer, earned $6.8M in 2021, a 41% decrease compared to previous year.
