UnitedHealth Group reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 19, 2019.
In 2018, six executives at UnitedHealth Group received on average a compensation package of $13M, a 8% increase compared to previous year.
Andrew P. Witty, Chief Executive Officer, received $21M in total. 77% of Witty's compensation, or $16M, was in stock awards. Witty also received $2.2M in non-equity incentive plan, $2.1M in option awards, $613K in salary, as well as $19K in other compensation.

Stephen J. Hemsley, Chairman, earned $11M in 2018, a 38% decrease compared to previous year.
Steven H. Nelson, Chief Executive Officer, received $9.8M in 2018, which increases by 29% compared to 2017.
Marianne D. Short, Chief Legal Officer, earned $9.1M in 2018, a 40% increase compared to previous year.
John F. Rex, Chief Financial Officer, received $8.6M in 2018, which increases by 8% compared to 2017.
