UnitedHealth Group reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 17, 2020.
In 2019, seven executives at UnitedHealth Group received on average a compensation package of $12M, a 8% decrease compared to previous year.
David S. Wichmann, Chief Executive Officer, received $19M in total, which increased by 4% compared to 2018. 51% of Wichmann's compensation, or $9.6M, was in stock awards. John F. Rex, Chief Financial Officer, received $11M in 2019, which increases by 24% compared to 2018.
Dirk C. McMahon, Chief Executive Officer, earned $9M in 2019.
Stephen J. Hemsley, Chairman, received $7.4M in 2019, which decreases by 35% compared to 2018.
Marianne D. Short, Chief Legal Officer, earned $7M in 2019, a 23% decrease compared to previous year.
