UPWORK reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 20, 2020.
In 2019, four UPWORK executives received on average a compensation package of $3.4M, a 4% decrease compared to previous year.
Hayden Brown, Chief Executive Officer, received $12M in total, which increased by 2,312% compared to 2018. 96% of Brown's compensation, or $11M, was in stock awards. Brown also received $69K in non-equity incentive plan, $437K in salary, as well as $4.4K in other compensation.
Han-Shen Yuan, Former Senior Vice President, Engineering, received a compensation package of $1.1M. 65% of the compensation package, or $682K, was in stock awards.
Stephane Kasriel, Chief Executive Officer, earned $615K in 2019, a 94% decrease compared to previous year.
Brian Kinion, Chief Financial Officer, received $426K in 2019, which decreases by 13% compared to 2018.
