U.S. Bancorp reports 2019 executive compensation

U.S. Bancorp reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on March 10, 2020.
In 2019, six executives at U.S. Bancorp received on average a compensation package of $6.7M, a 21% increase compared to previous year.
Andrew Cecere, Chief Executive Officer, received $19M in total, which increased by 40% compared to 2018. 43% of Cecere's compensation, or $8.1M, was in stock awards. Cecere also received $6.7M of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $2.7M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.2M in salary, as well as $53K in other compensation.
Terrance R. Dolan, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $6.5M, which increased by 27% compared to previous year. 54% of the compensation package, or $3.5M, was in stock awards.
Jeffry H. von Gillern, Vice Chair, Technology and Operations Services, earned $4.4M in 2019, a 15% increase compared to previous year.
Shailesh M. Kotwal, Vice Chair, Payment Services, received $3.6M in 2019, which increases by 5% compared to 2018.
Timothy A. Welsh, Vice Chair, Consumer and Business Banking, earned $3.6M in 2019.
Gunjan Kedia, Vice Chair, Wealth Management and Investment Services, received $3.6M in 2019, which increases by 3% compared to 2018.
