U.S. Bancorp reports 2020 executive compensation

U.S. Bancorp reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on March 8, 2022.
In 2020, six executives at U.S. Bancorp received on average a compensation package of $6.6M, a 2% decrease compared to previous year.
Andrew Cecere, Chief Executive Officer, received $17M in total, which decreased by 11% compared to 2019. 51% of Cecere's compensation, or $8.6M, was in stock awards. Cecere also received $4.9M of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1.9M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.2M in salary, as well as $61K in other compensation.
Terrance R. Dolan, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $6.6M, which increased by 1% compared to previous year. 55% of the compensation package, or $3.6M, was in stock awards.
Jeffry H. von Gillern, Vice Chair, Technology and Operations Services, earned $4.4M in 2020, a 2% increase compared to previous year.
Timothy A. Welsh, Vice Chair, Consumer and Business Banking, received $4M in 2020, which increases by 12% compared to 2019.
Gunjan Kedia, Vice Chair, Wealth Management and Investment Services, earned $4M in 2020, a 11% increase compared to previous year.
Shailesh M. Kotwal, Vice Chair, Payment Services, received $3.7M in 2020, which increases by 3% compared to 2019.
