Veeco Instruments reported fiscal year 2009 executive compensation information on April 8, 2010.
In 2009, five executives at Veeco Instruments received on average a compensation package of $1.6M, a 14% increase compared to previous year.
John R. Peeler, Chief Executive Officer, received $3.7M in total, which increased by 24% compared to 2008. 43% of Peeler's compensation, or $1.6M, was in option awards. John F. Rein, Jr, Chief Financial Officer, earned $1.2M in 2009, a 10% decrease compared to previous year.
Peter Collingwood, SVP, Worldwide Sales and Service, received $1.1M in 2009, which increases by 224% compared to 2008.
Mark R. Munch, EVP, Metrology & Instrumentation, earned $880K in 2009, a 30% decrease compared to previous year.
