VeriSign CEO D Bidzos' 2018 pay rises 2% to $9.2M

VeriSign reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 11, 2019.
In 2018, four VeriSign executives received on average a compensation package of $4.6M, a 2% increase compared to previous year.
D. James Bidzos, Chief Executive Officer, received $9.2M in total, which increased by 2% compared to 2017. 76% of Bidzos' compensation, or $7M, was in stock awards. Bidzos also received $1.2M in non-equity incentive plan, $913K in salary, as well as $720 in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2018, the median employee pay was $189,290 at VeriSign. Therefore, the ratio of D. James Bidzos' pay to the median employee pay was 48 to one.
Todd B. Strubbe, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $3.8M, which is about the same as previous year. 73% of the compensation package, or $2.8M, was in stock awards.
George E. Kilguss, III, Chief Financial Officer, earned $3.1M in 2018, a 4% increase compared to previous year.
Thomas C. Indelicarto, General Counsel, received $2.2M in 2018, which increases by 3% compared to 2017.
