ViaSat CEO Mark Dankberg's 2018 pay rises 16% to $10M

ViaSat reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on July 20, 2018.
In 2018, five ViaSat executives received on average a compensation package of $5.6M, a 31% increase compared to previous year.
Mark Dankberg, Chief Executive Officer, received $10M in total, which increased by 16% compared to 2017. 43% of Dankberg's compensation, or $4.5M, was in option awards. Dankberg also received $1.3M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.2M in salary, $3.4M in stock awards, as well as $51K in other compensation.
Richard Baldridge, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $8.5M, which increased by 17% compared to previous year. 42% of the compensation package, or $3.6M, was in option awards.
Keven Lippert, Chief Administrative Officer, earned $3.7M in 2018, a 14% increase compared to previous year.
Ken Peterman, Senior Vice President and President, Government Systems, received $2.7M in 2018, which increases by 37% compared to 2017.
Shawn Duffy, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2.6M in 2018, a 17% increase compared to previous year.
ViaSat's fiscal year ends on March 31.
