ViaSat CEO Mark Dankberg's 2020 pay rises 10% to $12M

ViaSat reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on July 23, 2020.
In 2020, five ViaSat executives received on average a compensation package of $6.6M, a 22% increase compared to previous year.
Mark Dankberg, Chief Executive Officer, received $12M in total, which increased by 10% compared to 2019. 37% of Dankberg's compensation, or $4.4M, was in option awards. Dankberg also received $1.7M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.3M in salary, $4.4M in stock awards, as well as $18K in other compensation.
Richard Baldridge, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $10M, which increased by 50% compared to previous year. 37% of the compensation package, or $3.7M, was in option awards.
Ken Peterman, Senior Vice President and President, Government Systems, earned $4.5M in 2020, a 33% increase compared to previous year.
Shawn Duffy, Chief Financial Officer, received $3.7M in 2020, which increases by 17% compared to 2019.
Kevin Harkenrider, Executive Vice President, Global Operations and Chief Operations Officer, earned $3.1M in 2020, a 1% decrease compared to previous year.
ViaSat's fiscal year ends on March 31.
