Visa CEO Alfred Kelly's 2019 pay jumps 24% to $24M

Visa reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on December 5, 2019.
In 2019, five Visa executives received on average a compensation package of $13M, a 2% increase compared to previous year.
Alfred F. Kelly, Jr, Chief Executive Officer, received $24M in total, which increased by 24% compared to 2018. 59% of Kelly's compensation, or $14M, was in stock awards. Kelly also received $4.3M in non-equity incentive plan, $4.3M in option awards, $1.4M in salary, as well as $37K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2019, the median employee pay was $142,494 at Visa. Therefore, the ratio of Alfred F. Kelly, Jr's pay to the median employee pay was 170 to one.
Ryan McInerney, President, received a compensation package of $12M, which decreased by 9% compared to previous year. 59% of the compensation package, or $7.1M, was in stock awards.
Rajat Taneja, President, Technology, earned $12M in 2019, a 10% decrease compared to previous year.
Vasant M. Prabhu, Chief Financial Officer, received $12M in 2019, which decreases by 8% compared to 2018.
Kelly Mahon Tullier, General Counsel, earned $6.3M in 2019, a 1% decrease compared to previous year.
Visa's fiscal year ends on September 30.
