Visa CEO Alfred Kelly's 2020 pay rises 9% to $26M

Visa reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on December 3, 2020.
In 2020, six Visa executives received on average a compensation package of $16M, a 24% increase compared to previous year.
Alfred F. Kelly, Jr, Chief Executive Officer, received $26M in total, which increased by 9% compared to 2019. 65% of Kelly's compensation, or $17M, was in stock awards. Kelly also received $3.1M in non-equity incentive plan, $4.6M in option awards, $1.6M in salary, as well as $126K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2020, the median employee pay was $135,306 at Visa. Therefore, the ratio of Alfred F. Kelly, Jr's pay to the median employee pay was 195 to one.
Paul Fabara, Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, received a compensation package of $23M. 40% of the compensation package, or $9.1M, was in stock awards.
Ryan McInerney, President, earned $15M in 2020, a 24% increase compared to previous year.
Rajat Taneja, President, Technology, received $14M in 2020, which increases by 21% compared to 2019.
Vasant M. Prabhu, Chief Financial Officer, earned $13M in 2020, a 13% increase compared to previous year.
Kelly Mahon Tullier, Vice Chair, Chief People and Administrative Officer, received $6.7M in 2020, which increases by 6% compared to 2019.
Visa's fiscal year ends on September 30.
