WD-40 reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on October 31, 2019.
In 2018, six WD-40 executives received on average a compensation package of $1M, a 9% increase compared to previous year.
Garry O. Ridge, Chief Executive Officer, received $2.4M in total, which increased by 3% compared to 2017. 40% of Ridge's compensation, or $976K, was in stock awards. Ridge also received $698K in non-equity incentive plan, $649K in salary, as well as $107K in other compensation.
Michael L. Freeman, Chief Strategy Officer, received a compensation package of $811K, which decreased by 4% compared to previous year. 41% of the compensation package, or $333K, was in salary.
Steven A. Brass, Division President, the Americas and Chief Brand Officer, earned $785K in 2018, a 37% increase compared to previous year.
Jay W. Rembolt, Chief Financial Officer, received $780K in 2018, which decreases by 1% compared to 2017.
Richard T. Clampitt, General Counsel, earned $637K in 2018, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
William B. Noble, Managing Director, EMEA, received $559K in 2018, which decreases by 14% compared to 2017.
WD-40's fiscal year ends on August 31.
