Cree CEO Charles Swoboda's 2010 pay jumps 49% to $4.3M

Cree reported fiscal year 2010 executive compensation information on September 3, 2010.
In 2010, four Cree executives received on average a compensation package of $2M, a 6% increase compared to previous year.
Charles M. Swoboda, Chief Executive Officer, received $4.3M in total, which increased by 49% compared to 2009. 39% of Swoboda's compensation, or $1.7M, was in option awards. Swoboda also received $755K in non-equity incentive plan, $572K in salary, $1.3M in stock awards, as well as $7.2K in other compensation.
Stephen D. Kelley, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $1.3M, which decreased by 32% compared to previous year. 36% of the compensation package, or $489K, was in option awards.
John T. Kurtzweil, Chief Financial Officer, earned $1.3M in 2010, a 34% increase compared to previous year.
Lighting John T. Kurtzweil, Chief Financial Officer, received $1.3M in 2010.
Cree's fiscal year ends on June 26.
