Cree CEO Charles Swoboda's 2011 pay jumps 25% to $5.4M

Cree reported fiscal year 2011 executive compensation information on September 2, 2011.
In 2011, four Cree executives received on average a compensation package of $2.5M, a 20% increase compared to previous year.
Charles M. Swoboda, Chief Executive Officer, received $5.4M in total, which increased by 25% compared to 2010. 53% of Swoboda's compensation, or $2.8M, was in option awards. Swoboda also received $595K in salary, $1.9M in stock awards, as well as $8.9K in other compensation.
Stephen D. Kelley, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $1.6M, which increased by 16% compared to previous year. 52% of the compensation package, or $820K, was in option awards.
John T. Kurtzweil, Chief Financial Officer, earned $1.5M in 2011, a 13% increase compared to previous year.
Lighting John T. Kurtzweil, Chief Financial Officer, received $1.5M in 2011, which increases by 13% compared to 2010.
Cree's fiscal year ends on June 26.
