Cree reported fiscal year 2012 executive compensation information on September 5, 2012.
In 2012, six Cree executives received on average a compensation package of $1.3M, a 46% decrease compared to previous year.
Charles M. Swoboda, Chief Executive Officer, received $3.1M in total, which decreased by 42% compared to 2011. 45% of Swoboda's compensation, or $1.4M, was in option awards. Swoboda also received $621K in salary, $1.1M in stock awards, as well as $8.3K in other compensation.
Stephen D. Kelley, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $1.1M, which decreased by 28% compared to previous year. 36% of the compensation package, or $412K, was in option awards.
Tyrone D. Mitchell, Jr, Executive Vice President, earned $1.1M in 2012.
Norbert W. G. Hiller, Executive Vice President–LEDs, received $938K in 2012.
Lighting John T. Kurtzweil, Chief Financial Officer, earned $913K in 2012, a 37% decrease compared to previous year.
Michael E. McDevitt, Chief Financial Officer, received $771K in 2012.
Cree's fiscal year ends on June 26.
