Xylem CEO Patrick Decker's 2018 pay rises 8% to $8.3M

Xylem reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 2, 2019.
In 2018, five Xylem executives received on average a compensation package of $3.3M, a 13% increase compared to previous year.
Patrick K. Decker, Chief Executive Officer, received $8.3M in total, which increased by 8% compared to 2017. 58% of Decker's compensation, or $4.9M, was in stock awards. Decker also received $853K in non-equity incentive plan, $1.5M in option awards, $1M in salary, as well as $131K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2018, the median employee pay was $49,549 at Xylem. Therefore, the ratio of Patrick K. Decker's pay to the median employee pay was 168 to one.
E. Mark Rajkowski, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $2.8M, which increased by 4% compared to previous year. 48% of the compensation package, or $1.3M, was in stock awards.
Kenneth Napolitano, SVP and President, AWS & ACT, earned $1.8M in 2018, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
Colin R. Sabol, SVP and President, MCS, received $1.8M in 2018, which is about the same as previous year.
Claudia S. Toussaint, General Counsel, earned $1.6M in 2018, a 3% increase compared to previous year.
