Yelp reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 22, 2019.
In 2018, six Yelp executives received on average a compensation package of $2.9M, which is about the same as previous year.
Jeremy Stoppelman, Chief Executive Officer, received $5.5M in total, which decreased by 46% compared to 2017. 99% of Stoppelman's compensation, or $5.4M, was in option awards. Stoppelman also received $1 in salary and $49K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2018, the median employee pay was $50,749 at Yelp. Therefore, the ratio of Jeremy Stoppelman's pay to the median employee pay was 108 to one.
Jed Nachman, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $3.5M, which increased by 13% compared to previous year. 63% of the compensation package, or $2.2M, was in option awards.
Lanny Baker, Chief Financial Officer, earned $3.3M in 2018, a 868% increase compared to previous year.
Laurence Wilson, Chief Administrative Officer, received $2M in 2018, which increases by 23% compared to 2017.
Alan Ramsay, Chief Accounting Officer, earned $1.7M in 2018, a 117% increase compared to previous year.
Vivek Patel, Chief Product Officer, received $1.6M in 2018, which decreases by 4% compared to 2017.
