Yelp reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on May 21, 2020.
In 2019, six Yelp executives received on average a compensation package of $3.2M, a 11% increase compared to previous year.
Jeremy Stoppelman, Chief Executive Officer, received $6.3M in total, which increased by 16% compared to 2018. 77% of Stoppelman's compensation, or $4.9M, was in option awards. Stoppelman also received $1 in salary, $1.4M in stock awards, as well as $53K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2019, the median employee pay was $71,055 at Yelp. Therefore, the ratio of Jeremy Stoppelman's pay to the median employee pay was 89 to one.
Jed Nachman, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $3.2M, which decreased by 8% compared to previous year. 46% of the compensation package, or $1.5M, was in option awards.
Lanny Baker, Chief Financial Officer, earned $3.1M in 2019, a 5% decrease compared to previous year.
Vivek Patel, Chief Product Officer, received $2.8M in 2019, which increases by 78% compared to 2018.
Laurence Wilson, Chief Administrative Officer, earned $2.3M in 2019, a 11% increase compared to previous year.
James Miln, Chief Financial Officer, received $1.7M in 2019.
