Zoetis reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 2, 2019.
In 2018, five Zoetis executives received on average a compensation package of $5.1M, a 6% increase compared to previous year.
Juan Ramón Alaix, Chief Executive Officer, received $12M in total, which increased by 11% compared to 2017. 46% of Alaix's compensation, or $5.4M, was in stock awards. Alaix also received $2M in non-equity incentive plan, $2.7M in option awards, $1.2M in salary, as well as $322K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2018, the median employee pay was $75,366 at Zoetis. Therefore, the ratio of Juan Ramón Alaix's pay to the median employee pay was 155 to one.
Clinton A. Lewis, Jr, Executive Vice President and Group President, International Operations, Commercial Development, Global Genetics and Aquatic Health, received a compensation package of $4.6M, which increased by 4% compared to previous year. 37% of the compensation package, or $1.7M, was in other compensation.
Kristin C. Peck, Executive Vice President and Group President, U.S Operations, Business Development and Strategy, earned $3M in 2018, a 1% decrease compared to previous year.
Glenn C. David, Chief Financial Officer, received $3M in 2018, which increases by 8% compared to 2017.
Catherine A. Knupp, Executive Vice President and President of Research and Development, earned $2.9M in 2018, which is about the same as previous year.
