Zymergen reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on April 20, 2022.
In 2021, five Zymergen executives received on average a compensation package of $13M, a 783% increase compared to previous year.
Josh Hoffman, Chief Executive Officer, received $26M in total, which increased by 1,706% compared to 2020. 98% of Hoffman's compensation, or $25M, was in option awards. Hoffman also received $300K in salary and $218K in other compensation.
Jay Flatley, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $12M. 96% of the compensation package, or $11M, was in option awards.
